Why do you want to lose weight and why did you get overweight? People are overweight because of the way they eat. They eat too many industrially produced foods, do not get enough essential nutrients and eat too much.

Being overweight leads to health problems, such as high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and heart disease. The excess weight is a problem for the joints of the body that can also lead to inflammation and probably arthritis.

When you are overweight and you look at yourself in a mirror you are unhappy about your appearance. You must be able to imagine what you want to realize. If you can’t imagine it you fail. When your subconsciousness sees you overweight, you will put the weight you lost back on relatively soon. When you see your mindmovie with images of a slim woman and the affirmation that you are slim, your subconsciousness will be reprogrammed.
Note: See you mindmovie at least twice a day and do this until you have reached your goal. The quicker result you will get when you have your mindmovie running during the day. The result would be that you would constantly eat more than your body needs.

When you imagine a goal, also feel the emotion, which means, feel as if you already have achieved your goal. If you want to lose weight, imagine how your life will look when you have achieved your weight loss goal. See and live as if you are slim. Try to move as if you are slim. Feel how light your body is. See yourself in clothes which you will wear when you are slim. Imagine how people will look at you. Hear them give you compliments about your wonderful slim figure. Hear them say how great you look in these jeans or in this new dress. Fix a photograph of a slim woman on your refrigerator door, which should remind you how you look when you have achieved your goal.

Forget about going on a weight loss program as you know that you would not stay on this program permanently and so you would not keep your weight loss off permanently. If you want to lose weight and body fat and keep it off permanently, you have to change your diet permanently and get yourself used to this thought. Think that you only have to get used to healthy food and you will enjoy it and you will not go back to eat junk food and/or eat too much.

You then have to learn what to eat in a healthy diet (diet is a general term for eating habit). A healthy diet must not be raw or vegan. If you become a raw food eater or even vegan is your choice. It is scientifically believed that the human brain got large and the human began to develop very differently as apes because the human began to eat more animal protein and we used fire for cooking. With cooking food part of the digestion work is done and less energy is needed to digest and more energy is available for brain functions.

When you eat raw your body uses more energy during the digestion process in comparison to eating cooked food. This is one of the reasons why a raw food eater can eat more in comparison to someone who eats cooked food. When you want to lose weight as a raw food eater you will lose more with ease as when you eat cooked food.

 

Let us make a little excursion into worlds which are different from our today’s world:

  • Search for photographs with people about 50 years ago. Do you see anyone as fat as you can see many today? So there is something wrong about our food and our eating habits today. What did our grandparents eat? How much and how often a day did they eat? Find out the answer to this question yourself.
  • Look at animals living in the nature. Do you see any being overweight? Do they eat any processed food? Do they eat grains? Yes, birds do, but never apes.
  • Look at photographs of wild human tribes, for example in the region of the Amazonas. Is there anyone fat? What do these people eat? How many times a day do they eat?
     

There is one more question, and it is an important one, which you have to answer yourself: Are only you overweight or is your whole family overweight? No, do not put it on genes! It is about too much of wrong food.

And here is another question: Are the other members of your family interested to lose weight or at least one of them? One advise from me: Do not force anyone as with force you get the opposite result. Make them think by starting to eat less of the right foods and tell the others in the family, how much better you feel, and believe me, you will feel a lot better.

If you have to start alone with a new eating lifestyle, you will have to bring two different kinds of dishes on the table. Make only little changes at a time for the other family members. For example: Have vegetables as a side dish and make it look nice. For the entrée use recipes with less oil, less fat on the meat, make the portions a little less big, and make it a little less big after about 3 weeks as it take 3 weeks to get used to a new habit. Step by step the other family members will be satiated without knowing that they ate less. And step by step they will get used to a healthier diet.

In case you are obese (= weighing 30% above your ideal weight) you are sick. When you are sick you might have other health problems and certainly quite a number of health risks. A sickness needs to be healed and healing takes time. The healing has always two factors: physical and emotional. Think that your entire life will change when you are healed.

When someone who is overweight says that he/she feels so great, do you really believe that? This person does not know anymore how it feels to be slim. How life looks when you are slim. How wonderful it is to move with ease. How great it is when you can buy new clothes, which is fashionable. How it feels when people look at you when you are slim in comparison when you are fat. When you are slim you are treated better. There are so many advantages to being slim. It will be much easier to get a better job and being paid more money. You have much more choice when you go shopping for clothes. It is so much easier to get into a car and out of it when you are slim. It is so much easier and much more fun travelling when you are slim.

You have much more opportunities in life when you are slim. And most important:
You are happier and healthier when you are slim.
