Do you want to work or do you want do something you enjoy and make money with it? Do you want to work to make money? Are you living to work or working to live? Think about it!
It is said that when you do something you really enjoy, you will find a way to make money with it and since you enjoy this kind of work, you will be successful. It does not matter what it is. Could you quickly say, what you love to do most? If not, sit down and think what it is.
Let us say you enjoy to listen to a certain type of music and you might think that no one could ever make money just listening to music. Well, mavbe not. But what if you write review about the music you enjoy to listen and offer CDs and MP3s on a website or a blog. You might get thousands of customers who love to come back to your blog or subscribe to it and again and again buy the CDs or MP3s you offer. You become affiliate of Amazon or any other company who offers CDs and MP3s of the music you like and also offers an affiliate program. I would not recommend that you leave your job immediately, but most probably you will become successful and will do that one day.
There is almost nothing which you could not turn into money as money is an energy and you put energy into something you love to do.
Working To Make Money And Enjoying It
Do you see in the word “work” something uncomfortable? If your answer is yes, then you should change your profession. Work should be satisfying and fun. Successful people work from morning till late evening seven days a week. To have your office at home has advantages, first: you do not lose time to get to work and for the way back, and second: you do not have to neglect your family as you are present. Your life-partner and children are around and they know you are near. At times you might have a little problem with noise made by your children: Live with it or get some special noise-protection.

Today we live in an unprecedented level of prosperity. All is there in abundance with the exception of time. It can’t be stopped, hoarded or saved and it can’t be bought. Time is the most precious good we have. Think about the time you lose to go to work and from work home. In some cases this takes one, two or more hours a day, which makes a full work-day per week. Time you could use for something better. The future trend goes to use and organize our time better. As already mentioned, working at home saves time.
Thanks to telecommunication more and more people work from home, be it that they have their own company or they are connected online with their office. New professions are developed and more opportunities of self-employed activities are born like offering services to larger corporations who take the opportunity of outsourcing, as for example internet marketing. There are lots of contractual possibilities, which might differ from country to country and their laws. There is hardly a product or service which is not offered by internet. Even though competition is dense, one can still find a niche or offer something in addition in comparison to the competitors. Innovative ideas are needed and even ideas can be offered, bought and sold online.
If you want to set up your office at home you need space for it, if possible a separate room. Should the partner also work from home, two extra rooms are needed. Of course also an area in the living room can be used for an office corner, whereby one is probably sidetracked often by other family members. This is one reason why the apartment/house of the future is larger. The home of the future style and functionality are in the foreground.
Do you want to make more money, then you have to understand that you have to take more responsibility.
Are you looking for work? Well, you are looking for being employed and get paid regularly, without having to take responsibility or at least as little responsibility as possible. You go to work in the morning, come home in the evening and you can be quite certain of getting paid a salary. You sometimes think that your boss should pay you more, but do you think about what are you willing to do for it.
Your boss has the responsibility that his company makes enough money to pay goods and to pay his employees. He is the first in the company and the last leaving, unless he has a manager controlling the company.
The company has to offer products or services that find demand and the products have to be offered at a competitive price at its quality, meaning a higher quality product can be offered at a higher price. Sometimes it is not the quality, but better marketing (including advertisement) that allow a higher price without raising the quality.
The management must control the financing, purchase, production, marketing, sales, support and last but not least the employees and the quality of their work.
The management has to make certain that there are products to sell or parts to manufacture products, that there are enough employees to fulfil the work necessary, that the employees are at work on time and that they are paid on time. They must make certain that the production quota is fulfilled, that the orders are fulfilled on time. They have to make certain to make a profit to have money to buy new parts or products, pay salaries, pay for rent of the company’s building and cars, plus payment of taxes. That means that the management has to take responsibility for all its tasks.
If you want to make a change in your life and make more money, you have to think about where you are. Are you a little wheel in a larger money-making-entity? Then think about where you want to be. The more responsibility you have in a given money-making-entity, the more money you make (higher your salary) and the higher the yearly bonus. Do you want to make as much money as your boss? Then you have to take over full responsibility of a company.
Now think, are you looking for work or do you want to earn more money? How much responsibility are you willing to take to make more money? If you start your own company you have to take all the responsibility.
Whatever kind of company you start, you need to care about financing, purchase, production, marketing, sales, support and employees. You can employ managers for controlling each of the divisions, but at the end it all is your responsibility.
If you are not really looking for work, but for making money, you have to be willing to take responsibility.
