It is said that when you do something you really enjoy, you will find a way to make money with it and since you enjoy this kind of work, you will be successful. It does not matter what it is. Could you quickly say, what you love to do most? If not, sit down and think what it is.
Let us say you enjoy to listen to a certain type of music and you might think that no one could ever make money just listening to music. Well, mavbe not. But what if you write review about the music you enjoy to listen and offer CDs and MP3s on a website or a blog. You might get thousands of customers who love to come back to your blog or subscribe to it and again and again buy the CDs or MP3s you offer. You become affiliate of Amazon or any other company who offers CDs and MP3s of the music you like and also offers an affiliate program. I would not recommend that you leave your job immediately, but most probably you will become successful and will do that one day.
There is almost nothing which you could not turn into money as money is an energy and you put energy into something you love to do.

Do you see in the word “work” something uncomfortable? If your answer is yes, then you should change your profession. Work should be satisfying and fun. Successful people work from morning till late evening seven days a week. To have your office at home has advantages, first: you do not lose time to get to work and for the way back, and second: you do not have to neglect your family as you are present. Your life-partner and children are around and they know you are near. At times you might have a little problem with noise made by your children: Live with it or get some special noise-protection.

Today we live in an unprecedented level of prosperity. All is there in abundance with the exception of time. It can’t be stopped, hoarded or saved and it can’t be bought. Time is the most precious good we have. Think about the time you lose to go to work and from work home. In some cases this takes one, two or more hours a day, which makes a full work-day per week. Time you could use for something better. The future trend goes to use and organize our time better. As already mentioned, working at home saves time.
Thanks to telecommunication more and more people work from home, be it that they have their own company or they are connected online with their office. New professions are developed and more opportunities of self-employed activities are born like offering services to larger corporations who take the opportunity of outsourcing, as for example internet marketing. There are lots of contractual possibilities, which might differ from country to country and their laws. There is hardly a product or service which is not offered by internet. Even though competition is dense, one can still find a niche or offer something in addition in comparison to the competitors. Innovative ideas are needed and even ideas can be offered, bought and sold online.
If you want to set up your office at home you need space for it, if possible a separate room. Should the partner also work from home, two extra rooms are needed. Of course also an area in the living room can be used for an office corner, whereby one is probably sidetracked often by other family members. This is one reason why the apartment/house of the future is larger. The home of the future style and functionality are in the foreground.
